As we all adjust to the developing COVID-19 crisis, we wanted to provide you with an update since our last communication. On Thursday, March 19th, the State of California issued a stay at home order for all “non-critical infrastructure.” To ensure the safety of our employees while still supporting the needs of our customers and partners, we immediately executed our plan of relocating the staff in our Ventura headquarters to their home offices. We have also made provisions for continuing the shipment of products as usual; therefore, in North America, Europe, and ROW, we remain fully capable of handling business as usual, including receipt of orders and shipment of products within customary lead times.
As an organization, we continue to strictly adhere to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines and local public health orders for combating and preventing the spread of the virus. We are all practicing social distancing, maintaining hygiene protocols, and minimizing business travel to only the essential—ramping up our use of web conferencing technologies to move face-to-face activities online as much as feasible.
